Hi all! I’m at work…and about to scoot outta here to get home and watch some much needed OPENING DAY baseball!
Can’t wait for a little Joshie Beckett fix and it’ll be here in less than an hour. Whoo to the hoo!
I’m soooooooo ready for the game. Well, I’m stuck at work and hope to see some of the game when I get home.
I want to see Beckett flat out kick ass today.
Hey everyone Won’t be able to be in here for the whole game. My laptop died and this computer is away from the TV room. Anyone haveing major issues w/ NESN? The video feed died on us and we’re not getting anything.
Ah, Opening Day. :)
And now I’m conflicted: Watch the Sox game or watch the Giants game? Gahh, I hate making choices like those.
@Mac: Watch them both–I’ll do that once I get home. Primarily the Sox, but flip over during commercials. I’ll have both going on Gameday. I just *have* to see Lincecum and The Big Unit pitch this year.
@jules: I’d do that, but I’m not near a tv that has CSN, so I’m just stuck with GameDay. And, mlb.tv isn’t working for me, so it looks like I’m going to be missing the game right now. D:
Is there a problem with the MLB.tv sound feed? Or is it just my goofy computer?
Yeah I’m not getting any sound either, SoxPhan. I was really excited to finally hear DO and Remy but there’s no sound

Hey Angie…so now I’m getting sound on the Rays feed, but still no NESN. Harumph.
Comcast is pissing me off now. I can get the audio on the NESNHD channel but I get nothing on the non- HD channel (no audio or video). I swear if I can’t watch the Bruins tonight there will be hell to pay.

Opening day is my favorite holiday of the year.

Erin, you can watch it on mlb.tv if you have that. I agree Comcast is horrible. My cable goes out seriously every other week. I am definitely switching to Verizon

I still don’t know why the Rays call Shields “Big Game” Shields. Just don’t get it.
My mlb.tv NESN feed had no sound either or a loud screeching noise. I flipped over to the Tampa feed and it’s not Remy…but it’s baseball.
So far…Beckett is spectacular and Pedey HR…and hits all around. Papi again with 1st to 3rd. WHOO HOOO!

Whats really annoying about this is we get all the other channels fine. Is just NESN that we’re not getting

@jules: I think that nickname came from when he was in the minors….and he has a lot to do to live up to it in the majors.

My youngest child (age 5) is bouncing off the walls he’s so excited for Opening Day. He cried yesterday when I picked him up at preschool and told him that the game was postponed.

I’m gonna be a complete girl for a moment. Josh Beckett has never done it for me. Great picture…but on the hotness factor…nah. But this year…god lord, he’s proving me wrong with his uncontained hotness. LOL

I just tried to call customer service because I can’t log on and after being on hold for 5+ minutes, I receive a recorded message saying, “We are currently not accepting calls. Please try your call again later.” WHAT THE FRAK?
