    How are you guys ? Damn, this game is starting so late, think we might see some Bard action tonight ?

    Howdy, all!

    @Sam: Late? It’s only 6:30 in Anaheim.

  3. 2009 May 12 at 9:37 pm

    I am exhausted. However, I’m about to eat an ice cream float to get a double shot of sugar and caffeine in my system.

  4. 2009 May 12 at 9:38 pm

    Boo hiss, I’m gonna miss this game. Why is it so late? 12pm here, I have things to do..

    BRUINS!!! Bringing it back to Boston for game 7. And we know how good things can happen there…

    The mojo is flowing, my peoples, the mojo is flowing.

  6. 2009 May 12 at 9:40 pm

    I for one am glad it’s late so only the pregame will be on ‘my’ NESNPlus channel. No disrespect to the Bruins. They just won and caused mad victory dancing in at least one apartment in Back Bay.

    I live in the SOUTH END, you idiot.

  8. 2009 May 12 at 9:42 pm

    @mhcranberry: Tell that to your T station. And the other night I heard Fenway was in Back Bay so apparently it slides around the city.

    fc will confirm the resemblance of this dance to my own victory dance. EVERYONE TOGETHER NOW!

    Texy- Very smart idea but I still fear that I won’t make it past the 4th inning.

    @mhcranberry: They looked great tonight. Thomas gave up one bad goal but everything else looked locked in. Game 7 at home and they look fantastic.

    @mhcranberry: You know what my victory celebration for the Sox is ? 50 crunches for every K by the starter.

    I swear, I’d try to finish the game if Papi hits a homer.

  16. 2009 May 12 at 9:52 pm

    Ah…these late night games. I’ll be here….tired and maybe cranky, but here none the less. Useless tomorrow….

    Without Youk and Pedey….the other boys better be hitting machines….and Masty better be his masty self.

  17. 2009 May 12 at 9:53 pm

    @Sam: Clearly roiding.

    BTW Yanks lost to the Blue Jays tonight 5-1. Halladay pitched a complete game. He was ON FIRE. Struck out Teixeira looking twice. And little ol’ Kevin Cash proceeded to break my heart by showing himself to me wearing pinstripes. It hurt ladies and gents, I am not going to deny it.

    Hey all, just passing through. Sadly, these 10:00 starts coupled with my need to stay on top of things at work mean pretty much no baseball this week until Friday night. Visions of great pitches, great defense, and hot bats will be dancing in my head as I fall asleep, though! And y’all can have a great time for me.

    Congrats to the Bruins, by the way. I hope they’ll win Game 7 for all you hockey fans.

    Enjoy the game! :::waves goodnight:::

  23. 2009 May 12 at 9:57 pm

    @shelley1005: AJ Burnett had to be heartbroken that his bromance with Doc is over. And also that Doc is 1000000x a better pitcher than he is.

    Ok friends. I need good updated tonight. If I go upstairs I lose the computer. I have 2 shows recording (for my kids) on this downstairs TV until 11pm. So I’ve got no TV until 11pm. Keep me update.d

  26. 2009 May 12 at 10:04 pm

    @Texy: Yes, I think AJ really wanted to come and compete with him tonight…kind of like when you see your ex-boyfriend and make sure you look super hot. And, sadly…he learned that he doesn’t look that sexy and that Doc may have taught him a lot of things, but he isn’t even in his league.

    A complete game. It was truly spectacular. And even though the Blue Jays are above us in the standings, seeing the Yanks lose never gets old.

    Youk may be injured, but not too injured to throw sunflower seeds at Jason Bay.

  30. 2009 May 12 at 10:06 pm

    They placed Youk on the DL. He’s been out so long….it was only a matter of time. I know we want him back ASAP, but we need him healthy and right.

    I watched most of the Yanks/Jays game–AWESOME! The stadium was packed and boisterous. The “Yankees Suck!” chants were very loud and AJ got hearty “cheers.” Great game.
