Why is NESN doing Comedy All-Stars? It’s a SPORTS network.
The ace of the staff is on the hill and the PawSox are still well represented on the right side of the infield, should be another good one.
How are you guys ? I’m hoping that Chone Figgins wont act like Crawford in this one.
I had a lot of caffeine, so I should be here for a while, at the very least for as long as Wake’s in the game (which will, hopefully, be a long time).
@Sam: I hope he does since Crawford had to leave tonight’s game early
Hi all. Another late night for us east coasters. I am hopefully for a game that makes my continued tiredness and lack of productivity at work worth it. I am so grateful tomorrow is a day game.

What do people think of Santana pitching tomorrow? I am hoping he has a little rust on him…and maybe his presence lights a fire under Brad Penny’s ass.

@Sam: Well, I love Clay…always have and think he should have Penny’s spot. However….I also think if Penny can settle in, he is a steal for his price. Unless we can get a decent SS for him….I am not sure I would trade away decent pitching just yet. I am all conflicted about it….

Here’s my awesome news for the night… my kids were possibly exposed to swine flu on Sunday. Infector is being tested tomorrow. Now, I know it’s nothing worse than regular flu but kids with flu = crabby parent.
@Fenway West: I think when teams look JUST at his errors, which is 36, err, make that 37, they’d be scared.
@shelley1005: According to Extra Bases, Pedey was livid about being held out of the lineup tonight.
Apparently he launched a profanity-laced tirade at Tito when he found out.

@Sam: But then they look deeper, and see that the reason his errors have gone DOWN in the last three years is that his range has diminished, and he’s not getting to as many balls as he should. (Which makes his deal look even MORE wonderful.)
@Kimd: Where at? That sucks. My mom’s a teacher back in Texas, and they went a little overboard shutting schools down there. Swine flu has been a massive FAILHAT.
@lone1c: One of the things I LOVE about Pedey….his intensity and wanting to constantly be in there and playing. That’s a guy you want at the end of the season when everyone is hurt and dog tired.
@Texy: Like my home town, actually. They shut the high school down for a week (or at least until the CDC told them to stop with the closings).
@Texy: Swine flu was confirmed at my school and we did…nothing. Same with norovirus. And I wonder why I’m always sick.
@Texy: Exposed (possibly) but my husbands nephew – he’s from Framingham. So there…. It’s totally a FAILHAT and I’m not worried about death, etc but 3 kids with flu = miserable parent and I’ll be the “that” parent that introduces swine flu to our area.
