Remy battling cancer. That is awful news. Truly ruins my night.
Hey all. Sorry to hear about Jerry Remy and cancer surgery. I am sending him good thoughts and wishing for a speedy recovery. Hugs Remdawg!
@Clarity: I am ok with them being out. I’d rather they be out now and heal up quickly…than have them play and getting really hurt.
Plus, we seemed to do alright last night without them. JD in the leadoff spot will be interesting to see.
Masterson vs. Pavano. It should be interesting.

I am so sad to hear that Remy has cancer. My thoughts are with him; I hope he can beat it.

Disturbing stat of the day: Ellsbury’s OBP = 0.323.
Varitek’s OBP = 0.310.
This is not good. Ells needs to get on base a lot more than the Tek.
