Best Laid Plans (Video Overload)
So I had this fabulous idea to treat everyone to a handful of posts throughout the off-day yesterday in which I’d post random funny/interesting videos from the last few weeks of games. And then work tidal waved over my day, and all my carefully crafted plans fell by the wayside. FAILHAT.
Instead, I will now load up this one single post with all of those videos I had planned to share yesterday — better late than never, eh?

Video 5: Bringing the Red Sox Scholars onto the field before Sunday’s game accompanied by the team leads to a lot of interesting interaction between the kids and the players. Best of the bunch has to be Jonathan Papelbon, who cannot keep his hands off his kid’s hair.
Video 6: My favorite of the bunch– Dustin Pedroia, mic’ed up.

Texy, THANK YOU for posting these videos. The Youk and Pedie videos were classic. Masterson hitting! I love it when pitchers hit–always entertaining.

This made my day – well, so far. I’m hoping for some more highlights in my day tonight.
Youk looks like some kind of crazed maniac. (Pause for wisecrack – go ahead, get it out of your system.) And what’s with Saito making ‘his’ kid wave like he’s an infant, or a doll?
Also, I think we now know the secret of how Pap keeps his hair so fluffy and inviting.

WOW where does Youk get all that energy? Like what did he eat before the game? And Masterson is always sneaking into interiews and videos. He is meant to be in front of the camera.
