Eight straight sweep is feelin’ mighty good right about now. Mighty good indeed.

F-ing brilliant!
i was there tonight! it was great!!! i could’nt ask for a better game! sweeeet! bummer that ells was out:(
Epic. I can’t stop grinning.
How sweep it is!
Pedey’s 10 pitch at bat was picture perfect.
awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome
I had to watch all 3 games on the YES network…I know, feel sorry for me.
What I loved is this….during their post game coverage here is what YES was forced to report.
YES Player of The Game: Brad Penny. That’s RIGHT…B to the Penny.
YES Defensive Play of the Game: Rocco’s awesome diving catch.
YES Overall Play of the Game: Pedey’s At-Bat in the 8th.
*giggles*
It’s just awesome with a dash of awesomesauce.
THAT. was awesome.
I missed the plunking of A-Roid and will have to find video (I know! I was driving my daughter to visit with her boyfriend…the things you do for your kidlets ;-).
Rico Baldy’s catch was Top-10 worthy.
GREENIE! What a hell of a play! Spin and throw. Spectacular.
And PAPI! Going yard into the Monster.
…but my favorite play…when Damon DROPPED the ball and tried the ol’ “there something in my eye…” routine.
HA!
one more thing…
My husband was great, while the Sox were down 1-3: “The comback will just further demoralize them. We have them right where we want them.”
Video of the Plunking of A-Roid.
And this concludes my goofing off portion of the day.
(for now)
Dustin’s AB was awesome. As soon as Green singled and Pedie walked, I knew it was a matter of time.
@jules: If loving that is wrong, I don’t wanna be right.
Love it! Look at all those dork faces. @jules: sweeps are just made for goofing off.
MLBN gave the player of the game to Jay-Bay saying Papi’s homer was worthy, but he’s had his share of that glory. Scott Van Pelt’s (ESPN Sports Center) imitation of Big Papi’s homerun dugout encores, complete with preliminary hand spits and claps, was truly hysterical.
I’ve become so Facebookified that I automatically looked for “like” this option. This frightened me so much that I forgot whatever witticism I was going to make here in the comments.
…I’m so tempted to use a couple of those for “DO NOT WANT” icons over at LJ…
