Was at the game yesterday. Still trying to recover from being witness to such a sucktastic excuse for pitching. And hitting. And generally playing the game of baseball.
Hi all. I’m so excited for this game tonight….Becks vs. DLowe. Two of my absolute favs. I’m excited to see Derek pitching at Fenway again….and yes, hope Becks gives him a beatdown.
I am so happy to hear Dice-K is out of the rotation. It’s the right choice for everyone. Sometimes I feel bad for Wang over with the Yanks who obviously is not right….and the Yanks don’t have the options and choices we do…so they just keep putting him back out there every 5 days. It’s kinda cruel.
Let’s GO RED SOX!!! GO BECKETT!!!

I’m on blackout here so am stuck watching the game on a crappy regional feed. I was too busy to actually watch games all week (or was without power) so this is my golden opportunity. Will check back here after awhile.

@ecl1958: Eh, it’s fine — and anyway, the night had some bright moments, like talking/shouting to DLowe (he talked/shouted back, too!) and sitting in reeeeally nice seats which nobody showed up for. (I was supposed to be in SRO ;D)

I miss DLowe. Wish we could have him back. He was my fav pitcher back in 04.
@shelley1005: He was one of my very favorites — we have the same birthday (though he’s 20 years my senior… heh), which endeared him to me when I was littler. I geeked out MASSIVELY when I got to talk to him yesterday, however brief it was.

@Kimd: YesPLZ. With Buch and Bowden in the wings in case of injury, that’s as good a rotation as you could realistically put together.
@Liza: I am a huge Lowe fan…might have difficulty having an actual conversation with him. Plus, I will play my girl card….I find Derek to be one of the most attractive men on the planet…and he isn’t 20 years my senior. But even more than his sexiness….I appreciate his kick arseness on the mound (hopefully not today).
@Kimd: I’d want that rotation too…when DLowe said he was considering the Sox and would love to come back, I knew it would never happen…but a girl can dream.

@shelley1005: If it were a drier day, the score would be 2-0. (Papi’s ball would have been out, but stayed in because of the moisture in the air—more drag resistance.)
