Hey y’all! I’m home working, but have my feet up on the coffee table with the game on. I can’t BELIEVE that I missed yesterday’s game. ugh!

Yeah….no Lugo in the lineup again…and the reports is Jedi will be coming back if everything goes to plan in 2 weeks, 3 at the most. All kinds of awesome!
Dice-K…as always…terrifies me…so, I will be hoping the crazy pitching goodness of Becks and Les rubs off on him.
I see Drew is out again…and getting a shot in his shoulder. I hope it works and he is back in the lineup ASAP.

@jules: Yes, there are very FEW we don’t have an insane amount of love for.
@everafter: Be prepared, when a player does something awesome….I often proclaim I am having their babies….and in JayBay’s case, his clear babies (no one is whiter than JayBay and myself….so if we did have little itty bitty babies, they would no doubt be clear as could be)..

@jules: Those pictures are just beautiful. I visited the Bay Area when I was a teenager and still remember going down Lombard Street and being totally amazed.
I do love that Dice-K hip shake….I hope along with it, he brings his pitching dominance.

@jules: I pretty much love everyone on the roster, even they play badly, that is, if they wisely choose not to complain the play time.

@ecl1958: Thanks Ecl! I was born there and lived in the Bay Area until the 4th grade. My real dad worked in San Francisco and would take us there quite often. I *never* get tired of Lombard and decided to try the old put-the-camera-out-the-sun-roof trick.

There’s a street in Ithaca, NY (where I lived for quite a few years) that’s modeled after Lombard, only narrower. I used to LOVE driving down it just for fun, especially since there’s a tricky spot at the last curve before the botttom — the house has a picture window right at a curve, so out of absolutely nowhere it looks like a car is coming toward you!
At least he struck out the 3 .. now some runs.
Does Padilla have any enemies on the Sox team??? Just wondering if he is going to play whack a mole with any of our mates….

@Texy: No, and I will admit, I enjoyed watching it. I will say though…I think in light of Padilla obviously targeting Teixeira…I think that Burnett getting a suspension for that very same game was bullshit.
