I wonder if Teddy Rossevelt is there.

  2. 2009 June 23 at 6:48 pm

At least they’re not playing the ORLIOLES.

  3. 2009 June 23 at 6:49 pm

Also, it has to be said….

    NATSTOWN.

  4. 2009 June 23 at 6:53 pm

    @Texy: Or should it be…

    NATSTWN!

LMFAO, both TV trucks in NATSTWN are broken.

This team is a joke, right?

@Mac: That’s not really it. They actually do have an offense. The problem is that once it gets started, it has to go in a straight line because they have no ROTATION.

  8. 2009 June 23 at 7:06 pm

@Liza: But for sure they’ll go crazy for every curly W.

    Hey!

I’m so glad to be home. I was in training ALL day. The morning was learning a new defect/change control tool. We had to enter a defect during a lab. I entered, “Daisuke’s arm.” heeheeee (no, no one knew what that was ;-).

I’m ready for an ass-kicking game.

    Go Penny!

    Go Sox!

And yes, I’m so glad to see Green playing so well…too funny he didn’t realize he hit a walk off last game.

@jules: Oy. That doesn’t sound fun… although the “Daisuke’s arm” thing is pretty funny.

@Liza: I have to keep myself amused. I always use Sox players’ names when doing mockups and prototypes. heeheee

@jules: What’s the severity of that defect? Priority of a fix? Estimated fix date?

    Pretty curvy W’s. Wow.

I don’t have NESN so I get MASN coverage. I’m already none too please. Hmph.

“Old friend” Josh Bard? Bet he doesn’t see it quite that way.

  21. 2009 June 23 at 7:14 pm

@lone1c: Ahah, no worries. I made a NATSTWN joke on another site before and the uniform thing flew over their heads.

@ecl1958: You will sadly probably be blacked out for this game Faith. I am. If I didn’t have MASN I would be listening to the radio broadcast.

    Ummmm…seriously. Nationals scoring runs? What?

@jules: Me too. I finally got it to work here…I had to shut down all my other open browser windows. I have all kinds of firewall/virus/adware protection on this computer, and it hasn’t shown anything going on, but for the last little while I’ve had this problem, and it seems to be especially bad when I log on to MLB.tv. I don’t know if some setting went awry or what.

I bought a five-year warranty when I got this computer but the seller went out of business, so if my cousin the computer geek can’t figure it out over the phone, I may have to pay one of the local computer service places to make a house call to figure out what the heck is going on (I’m not physically strong enough to lift the tower).

@ecl1958: The virus protection isn’t fool-proof, but I hope you don’t have anything significantly wrong. Extended warranties are usually “held” by another company, is yours?

    Do you have a PC?

    Have you tried re-booting?

@jules: I would think McAfee plus Spybot would be a pretty good combination, but anyway, yeah, the extended warranty is with another company. I think I’d have to send it away — this is a PC and in all honesty, I don’t know how to disassemble it (my brother-in-law set it up for me) even if I were able to lift the tower.

It’s been shut down and rebooted several times (due to bad storms) since this “offline” problem began.

@ecl1958: I’m not a big PC geek at all, but some of the geeks I work with occasionally re-install windows to solve things like that.

If you’re worried about hooking the cables back up, you can take a photo of the back of the PC. Cables have icons that match the port to make it easier.
