Thanks for posting Texy! Love the squirrel and his adorableness. I missed most of its shenanigans during the actual game, so it was nice to see what everyone was talking about.

And yes, I can see our entire pitching staff a hunting for the little guy, but I think JD bonded with him during their time alone in RF…so he might defend the little sucker. LOL.

Based on the squirrel’s behavior in right field and posture, if you can call it that, on top of the wall, I thought immediately that it might be rabid. And then I figured OF COURSE- that’s why it was attracted to JDD! If anyone on the Red Sox is likely to need to go on the DL with rabies, it would be that guy.

I have to say I’m with Pedey on this one: the comparisons to a squirrel are completely gratuitous and uncalled for. He’s much closer to a chipmunk, anyways.

And is anybody else imagining half of our pitching staff going Caddy Shack on the squirrel in the dugout?
