    Happy 4th!

    My husband and daughter are baking a birthday cake (carrot–yummmmm) and it’s so cute.

    I hope Penny throws a great game. And Doc, too (beat the Yanks).

    Oh, boy. Lugo in the lineup? Again? For Brad Penny?

    He’d better do well, or else he’s going to be hunted down before the trading deadline. . . .

    (I can only think the reason they’re doing this is to get him some playing time to “showcase” his “skills” for other teams so that they can get something of “value” in return in a trade.)

    Trivia: The Giant’s new phenom pitcher, Ryan Sadowski, has professed his love for the Red Sox. :) I like him already.

    @Jennie: So I guess he’d rather be stockpiled in Theo’s Pitching Warehouse and be with Boston than start in San Francisco. Very interesting.

    @lone1c: Let’s hope so! He’s only pitched 2 games so far but in 12 innings hasn’t allowed any runs.

    @Jennie: Yep and nope. The game was great, but Travis wasn’t playing. It’s a great place to catch a ball game. I’ll have to bring my camera next time.

    @lone1c: Thanks–I’ll check it out. The local paper said the only way to see him was to go to the game. Great news!
