How lucky are we – four games against the Royals, and don’t have to face Greinke once!

@Texy: I know. Just like both times we have faced Toronto…we’ve missed Halladay. Lucky, for sure. I’ll be honest…part of me was hoping Greinke might have made the rotation on Saturday since I’ll be at Fenway and would to see him pitch. But…I also want us to win.
I’m sad Coco is on the DL….since I looked forward to seeing him and cheering for him…and maybe proclaiming to have his babies.
I read that Lugo was away from the team for personal issues…something about his wife. I hope she’s alright. They said he is back with the team today…but no more details.
@Texy: I know ! Lucky for us and my fantasy baseball team.

Hammerhead can look in two different directions at once. Maybe that’s how he’s (mostly) escaped the Curse of E-6.
@shelley1005: I imagine Beard is jealous of Stache. Stache is thicker than Beard could ever hope to be.
@Texy: Those keen hammerhead eyes didn’t help him evade the curse that is Heidi Watney…or so the rumors say.
@Texy: Beard will never admit jealousy of stache. Plus, I believe beard is convinced he brings his team and host power and snark….and no stache, no matter how strong can say that about the Kansas City Royals.

I just realized I haven’t thoroughly handed my co-worker’s ass to him…who is also a Sox fan…who constantly called me a fool for not wanting Papi sent down or traded or benched. And said that Papi was done….JUST YOU WAIT SHELLEY. Papi has nothing left in the tank.

@jules: Yes, I forgot the constant pestering he did. Every single day when I got to work…he would ask…ARE YOU READY TO ADMIT PAPI IS DONE YET? Are you? Every single day…I would say. Nope.

My work cohort hates JD Drew. HATES. Her latest thing is that he looks like a donkey. Of course, when he hits a home run like last night, it makes her even madder because of his AWESOMENESS.
@Texy: I think I am going to make myself a laminated JD Drew Fan Club card….because I get irrationally mad every single time I hear someone hates JD. Like…I wanna email your cohort and tell her how wrong she is….because how can anyone in their right mind hate the guy.
So, do you mention his awesomeness…and force her to respond? Because…I admit, I am not the bigger person and SO WOULD.
