Let’s Go Dice-K…follow in Jonny Lester’s foot steps and go out there and kick some arse!
I am such a sentimental fool sometimes. MLB.tv just showed a couple of minutes of the view from the overhead blimp…very slowly, with the traffic going by Fenway. The first thing that struck me was how dark it is. Fall is here. And then it sank in for real…this is the last weekend of the regular season. And that made me cry.
@ecl1958: Aww. The season seems to have flown by this year….and I can’t believe that after this weekend….we’ll be in the post season hunt.
Morning all… I get my cable tv back on Wed! (it broke months ago). Just in time for the playoffs,which I’m pretty sure they’re showing on ESPN. So happy, I can’t even tell you.
@ecl1958: I know what you mean. I’m going to be lost this offseason. There aren’t even any good Australian sports to keep me entertained. Just… cricket. Ugh.
I am the Mayor of Dorkville – went out on the field to meet the players, shook Youk’s hand and ran away.
Yuck. Angel Hernandez. Just who I didn’t need to see.
@fc: That’s cool. I was pretty sure you’d be there and be out to meet them. Did you get your pic taken with him?

@shelley1005: It seems like P&C was just yesterday, doesn’t it? Unbelievable how it all flew by.
@fc: If I went out on the field and met any of the players I would probably…faint.

Pitch count could be better….but still…nice inning Dice. No damage done.
Texy offered to take my picture but I wasn’t having it. I did get a little Youk smile when. I turned to go and he saw my (his) jersey.

@Adam: I was just saying on the twitter…since I am the glass half full gal…that maybe the WBC drama…in the end, helped us…and left us with a well rested Dice-K heading into the playoffs.
