All-time Leaders of America’s Most Wanted

Oakland Raiders

Oakland Raiders is a National Football League (NFL) team formed in 1960. The Raiders initially belonged to the American Football League (AFL) before the two leagues merged in 1970. The team now belongs to NFL’s American Football Conference (AFC) under the western division. Oakland Raiders’ headquarters is located in Alameda, California. The team plays their home games at the O.co Coliseum in Oakland. The Raiders are also known to football fans as ‘The Team of the Decades’, ‘The World’s Team’, The Silver and Black’, ‘The Men in Black’, and ‘America’s Most Wanted’.

Outstanding Leaders

Coach John Madden along with players Ken Stabler, Marcus Allen, and Tim Brown are recognized as all-time Raiders leaders. Ken Stabler played for the Oakland Raiders from 1970 to 1979 and achieved a record of 19,078 passing yards while Marcus Allen stayed with the team from 1982 to 1992 and pulled off a record of 8,545 rushing yards. Tim Brown, on the other hand, played for the Redskins from 1988 to 2003 and signed a one-day contract with the franchise in 2005 to retire with the team. He reached the second-highest total receiving yards in NFL history with 14,734.

John Madden coached for the Raiders from 1969 to 1979. He was honored as Pro Football Weekly Coach of the Year in 1969 and has a record of 103 coaching wins. As follows are the rest of Oakland Raiders head coaches since the team’s formation:

Steven Heyer

Steven Heyer played for the Oakland Raiders in the 2011 NFL season. After leaving the team, he joined the New York Jets as one of their offensive tackles. Heyer began his pro career in 2007 when he was signed by the Washington Redskins after playing for Maryland in the college football league. Steven Heyer was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia and is 28 years old as of present.
