I watched the Sox game on NESN and couldn't go to bed until I watched the end of the O's/Y's game. It's ridiculous! I never thought there would be a day in hell that I would be thanking Jay Payton for tying up the game. And more unbelievable - the Yankees lost the division on a squeeze bunt that went 65 feet! If there is a God, he must be a Red Sox fan tonight!

Of course, NESN is covering the celebration and there is champagne and beer flying everywhere. The Sox players are in their division champ t-shirts and hats, wearing goggles!!!

Best moments: Papi spraying Cinco Ocho full in the face with champagne and Papelbon rocking out to it AND MDC and Javy Lopez running up to the bullpen security guard and spraying him with champagne.

Lots of love and stupidity going on tonight, but one of the most awesome scenes I've seen in a long time. DIVISION CHAMPS, baby!!! Whoo-Hoo!!!

Yep- when I was going over the video for the new post, I double and triple checked- but there was no Manny to be found.

Jacoby was there- mostly hanging back a tad on the periphery with Brandon and Clay and grinning from ear to ear.

Papelbon was in RARE FORM tonight. Jockstrap. Kidsized tee with his tats on display. He finally puts on some sliding pants, which are barely a step above underwear. And then the Bud Light mask. Can't forget to mention the headbanging and the weird dance with Youk.

Oh, weird, I definitely saw Brandon and Clay. Poor Buck looked so happy, even after his bad news!
