We don't need a team Ellsbury because everyone's on that team- Josh and Payboo both are members, I'm sure. We only have to pick sides when our two favorite boys have this rivalry (obsession? I'm looking at you, Papelbon) with each other.
And I saw Petitte do that during the lineups- I'm sure Wang appreciates him sharing that with the class. Clay was cute and nervous doing the lineups. I can put up some video on those tomorrow morning.
Fabulous game. I couldn't love Joshie more than I do now for that performance and shutting the Yankees down. That is the definition of an Ace and a Cy Young winner (go sit your arse down Mr. Wang).
And could we all just give Jacoby a big ol' Red Sox Nation hug? How can you NOT take that man (well, boy) to the playoffs with you??
I can't wait for today's game. Schilling's hopefully going to be having one of his good days... for once he's the younger pitcher! And I hope Youk's okay, that pitch looked really bad. I bet his wrist's brilliant blue today.
I'd give Jacoby more than one big hug. :D What a guy... he's an amazing batter, a stellar fielder, SO FRICKING FAST, 300% adorable, and he's a nice guy on top of all that.
How have I never see your blog before? It's brilliant!! And Josh was brilliant too! What a shame they lost last night, though.
I am an old fan of Beckett and Lowell from 2001. I chose to go to FIU for college simply because Lowell is an alum. Loved them when they were with the Marlins, and I love them even more with the Sox!
Anyway, I'll be lurking around and keeping up with your posts. :)
And now...now I sneak out of the shadows of your blog to finally make a post. I've loved all of your articles, but this one, though it really wasn't an "article" really made me laugh, and yet, also feel perfectly content. Just seeing a picture of Joshie makes me smile. But the whole "Drilled your first baseman - embarrassed your Wang" part made it spectacular.
I'd appreciate it if you'd take a look at my blog, as your site inspired it. It's still in the making...but still...I'd appreciate it.

Statement game. Holy hell was he awesome today; exactly what the quivering masses needed to see after last night's gut punch.
Give this man a Cy Young award.
