David Ortiz made the talkshow rounds on Regis & Kelly and then on Conan O'Brien -- but he's not done with TV yet.

The New York Times is reporting that Big Papi has been asked to be a part of a new series on IFC called "Framed"- which is being produced by Big Papi endorsee Reebok. It will be an interview/profile show, each episode focusing on a different athlete-- but the twist is, that a celebrity will be the one conducting the interview and directing the episode. Papi's episode will be directed by Carlos Mencia because Papi said, "he shares my pride for my Hispanic roots" and "working with him will be a lot of fun." (Papi better not have any original material, or it might end up on Carlos's next album.)

Other participants include: Nelly profiling Allen Iverson, Regina King profiling Vince Young, and Paz Vega profiling Thierry Henry. The series is slated to start on December 14th and run through January.
