This Is What I Want For Christmas

One of the bad things about living in Chicago? You miss victory parades in Boston.

You know what's even worse? You don't get to pick up one of these beauties that they were handing out for free along the parade route. What I wouldn't give...

Ya know, there were a TON of different posters handed out.

I luckily got one of those RBK ones. But, I know there were Dunkin ones, Sam Adams ones, etc. etc.

I came home with 3 different posters. And. They will be framed and forever immortalized.

I was at the parade and couldn't find the people handing them out. I'll admit that I searched all over the ground for one after the parade and finally saw one that a lady was standing on. I had to ask her to move so I could pick it up. It's a little crinkled but worth it. On the back it says "Put on Your Dancing shoes" You need two so you can put up both sides.

Other good ones were the Sam Adams "Raise one for the home team" With Sam raising a glass. And the DD "The Possible Dream 2007"

There should be some sort of outreach program for those of us in far-flung regions of the country, to be able to get these awesome posters.

Oh, well. I'll just cling to my "THERE'S ONLY ONE BECKETT" poster from Game 1 of the World Series.
