Beckett Is Pure

Or, at least he parties there.

Freed from the shackles of having to host Red Sox rookies at his ranch in Texas this offseason (boo!), Josh Beckett spent the New Year in Las Vegas. Josh, his girlfriend, his best friend and other assorted Beckett buddies partied it up at Pure nightclub (inside Caesar's Palace) on New Year's Day at a party hosted by Paris Hilton. Seriously. I cannot imagine a more dissimilar pair of people. There most assuredly were epic eyerolls from Josh if those two crossed paths on the dancefloor.

Others in attendance? Mo Vaughn. Seriously. Also Chiefs RB Larry Johnson, Jaguars DT Marcus Stroud, Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin, and former Falcons RB Jamal Anderson. And Suge Knight. Seriously.

It doesn't make up for no Beckett Boot Camp stories, but Josh showing up to a Paris Hilton party- and Mo Vaughn in attendance as well? To have been a fly on the wall...

For some reason he looks really young! And I want bootcamp stories too! There's a Lester+dead deer pic on Josh's ranch site now, so Jon was there, and hopefully some stories will surface soon...

I saw this picture the other day and thought for sure that you would have already seen it since you are so quick to the button. Guess that I'll know better next time....interesting group of people all hanging out at the same party, though. Hope all is well.

Which one is his girlfriend? Or is she blocked out by the tall person with the curly hair.

Beckett Boot Camp would've been interesting... but imagine what would happen if it were Paris Hilton instead of Jon Lester and Clay Buchholz...

And I do believe I just squeaked as I opened this on Beckett's site (went to check on Meg's tipoff, haha). It looks like it's making a kissy face at him!

But jeez--Paris Hilton, Josh Beckett, and Mo Vaughn? Seriously. What car wreck stranded those three people in the same place? (jokin', jokin'... mostly.)
