A "can of corn" is a can't-miss high fly ball, an easy catch an outfielder can (and should) make without any trouble.

okay. i have been to the red sox team store. you can buy player name shirts in HEBREW. i weep when i compare it to any store the mets have ever had. at least the red sox understand the basic principle that PEOPLE COME TO THE GAME TO BUY SHIT.
