awwww I didn't even know it was his birthday! and Tavarez won't even be around to help him blow out the candles :-(. I think we need some kind of Manny being Manny tribute video, don't you?
It took me awhile to catch on to the awesomeness and goodness that is Manny. Why that's the case I have no idea, but now I simply can't get enough of him doing his thing, either as it happens or in words and pictures and videos after the fact.
Have a lovely birthday, Senor Manuel. All of baseball fandom (Yankees purists aside) is celebrating with you, and we'll be downright delirious should you blow out 500 candles on your special night.
