Yearbook Photos: Not At All Embarrassing

With the news that Sean Casey is set for a rehab assignment in Pawtucket this week, it seemed like the perfect to share that not only is Sean "The Mayor", he's also...

the Homecoming King!

More not-at-all embarrassing yearbook photos of Sean after the jump...

(big hat tip and credit to TheStarterWife for sharing these pictures)

Awww. He's ADORABLE.

Hey, I'm gonna be honest. I'd probably have had a crush on him.

Ran across this great quote from from him (with help from Mikey Lowell):

"He's one of the best athletes I've ever played with," nine-year veteran Sean Casey says. "He's so fast. He makes everything look so easy. How he runs, his smooth swing, he's a lefty. His legs are so good."

"I wish I could cue a ball off the end of my bat to shortstop and wind up at first," Lowell says.

"Let me feel what he feels just once," Casey begs. "Let me get on first and feel what he feels just once."'

When I read that I couldn't help but picture Casey lumbering around the basepaths. He wants to FLY!

Sorry, meant to italicize that whole bit.

Oh my goodness. My crush is growing exponentially! He's just such a sweetheart and I cannot wait until he's back and off the DL. I'm counting down.

It used to be Lowell's smile that made me nuts. You know, head slitghtly down, eyebrows raised. Adorable. And now Casey.

Baseball boyfriends are such fun things to have.

mhcranberry, I'm sure I would've, too. What a great guy.

Thanks for the link, I *love* his quote, "Let me feel what he feels just once"

I always thought he looks a bit like McSteamy. Swoon!

MHC, I totally knew that was about Jacoby. (I'm pathetic.)

Also, AWWW. He looks absolutely adorable.

I've never heard any ballplayers (or media people) say a bad word about Ortiz either. it seems like he has friends on every team too. He and Casey are like the Ambassadors of Nice, Friendly Ballplayers.

although I think if I were Ellsbury and Sean Casey came up to me and said "let me feel what YOU feel! just once! come on..." I'd be a little creeped out.

Ya know, I looked at these photos again and I realized that they really remind me of my husband when he was younger ;-)

Aww I love those dorky glasses. I had a pair just like that my freshman year(then I upgraded to horn rimmed glasses).

There needs to be a Nice-Off between Justin Masterson, Sean Casey, and David Ortiz....I think the world would explode before we find out the nicest.

I couldn't help but let out a huge "awwwwww" when I saw this.

I don't even know what color it is...

BUT I AM LOVING HIS DATE'S DRESS.

(and her make-up job, of course)
