Looks like another rain delay.

I hope Lester throws an excellent game today.

[ Texas Gal ] says:
on June 22, 2008 1:39 PM

It's a little cloudy here on the South Shore, but no rain yet. That probably means if it's raining at Fenway, we'll get it in about 30 minutes.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 1:44 PM

The skies opened in like a monsoon Somerville for a few minutes, then it was over, so I suspect the delay won 't be long.

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 1:49 PM

The best thing about rain delays is that NESN replays "The Ultimate Red Sox Show," which is always blacked out for me. Today is all about Manny. I'm cracking up over the old footage of Manny, with tighter pants and short hair. I love this guy.

[ jenny again ] says:
on June 22, 2008 1:56 PM

any idea how long this delay is going to be? the weather maps look hideous. wah. I NEED LESTER.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 1:59 PM

Wish I had NESN so I could see Manny in tighter pants! /shallow. I love this guy too...but you already knew that.

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 2:00 PM

ha, ecl! I thought of you when they started showing the Manny episode. It's hard to get work done with a solid show of Manny highlights ;-)

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 2:00 PM

The delay is timely because I just got off the phone and haven't eaten yet today (I AM STARVING!), but I hope this game gets played...I'm so ready to see our guys.

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 2:02 PM

Estimated time for the first pitch is 2:25.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 2:02 PM

LOL jules, you know me too well. FWIW, I like him best with the dreads. He's so damn pretty, and they bring that out very well.

The weather radar that I'm picking up (zoomed in on wunderground.com) shows rain to the south and northwest of Boston proper, but not over the city itself. Are they just delaying in anticipation of that moving through?

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 2:03 PM

2:25...scrambling to get some food. Thanks for the heads up!

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 2:04 PM

It's clearing up now.

I love Manny because he's a goofball, but works so hard at his game--a great combination.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 2:08 PM

Jules, I love him for those reasons as well, plus I love seeing those blasts out of the park. So I'm not just being shallow...

[ Ellen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 2:19 PM

We're getting it now up north. My electricity keeps flickering. It better not go out.

[ Texas Gal ] says:
on June 22, 2008 2:24 PM

No surprise that we suck at defense - considering we have Mr. E6.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 2:25 PM

Hoping I can finish cooking this omelet before the game starts...probably not!

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 2:25 PM

Finally, yeah.

[ Bethie ] says:
on June 22, 2008 2:26 PM

It's about time. I hate rain delays. :(

Good going Jon! He's looking all determined today.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 2:29 PM

Bethie, I was thinking that about Jon too.
He has a look.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 2:29 PM

I was thinking when I poked my head in at the TV that Jon's facial expression was a bit Beckettesque today.

[ Bethie ] says:
on June 22, 2008 2:30 PM

It's F-I-E-R-C-E. When he walked away after that first K, and I saw the look on his face......I got a little skeered. :)

But hey, it led to a 10 pitch first. I'll take it.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 2:32 PM

I'll get a chance to see it more clearly once these damned eggs finish cooking!

Sounds like Jacoby just got robbed...

[ Bethie ] says:
on June 22, 2008 2:32 PM

Okay, WTF was that? He trips and hangs on to the ball???

Amazing.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 2:47 PM

:::::crickets:::::

Off to the other room to hunker down w/TV. Go BATS!

[ Texas Gal ] says:
on June 22, 2008 2:52 PM

The bats are looking rather blah out there today.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 2:56 PM

Maybe the second time through the lineup will be the charm.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:13 PM

Nice dive Ells!

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:13 PM

That was simply spectacular!

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:22 PM

TG, you're right, the bats are blah today. :-(

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:22 PM

OK, Sox...hits, we need hits!

Great catch by Ellsbury.

:: goes back to work ::

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:25 PM

Coco being Coco!

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:25 PM

COCO! WOW!

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:26 PM

Loco for Coco

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:28 PM

Our entire outfield rocks. All of them make me smile. So good, so good, soooo good!

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:31 PM

Weather radar update: I can't get the animation to work, but there's a fierce little cell from Waltham through Quincy and somewhat southeast.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:32 PM

Uh oh - big thunderclaps. No rain though.

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:32 PM

A month-long internship for the Sox? How much fun would THAT be? Do they need UI designers? heeheheee

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:32 PM

I just switched weather sites...going to see if I can figure out what direction that cell is moving.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:34 PM

Based on the increasing thunder, it's moving towards Boston.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:34 PM

Oops, not this time, Covelli.

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:35 PM

It's storm time in Florida. Very dark, lightning. Yesterday, there was a tornado 15miles from me.

[ Liza ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:35 PM

I'm getting epic lightning and thunder, but not rain at the moment.

Great outfield defense by Joco today... although that was not some nice baserunning.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:36 PM

The entire weather system over New England is moving southwest to northeast, if that helps any. Doesn't look like there's anything heading in the direction of Boston other than that one cell, which isn't very big.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:38 PM

Looks like a brush-by kind of storm...just grazing the western side of the city.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:38 PM

Betcha they bring out the tarp and wait it out.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:39 PM

Karen, we're getting pop-up T-storms here in WNC right now as well. The radar for the Eastern seaboard is rather impressive at the moment. Lines of storms everywhere.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:39 PM

And we have contact - raining again.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:40 PM

crap, crap, crap

[ Liza ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:41 PM

Yuck.

Lester's only thrown 65 pitches. C'mon, Jon...

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:41 PM

This is what Florida is like in the summer. Not sure how safe I am with the laptop in my lap with lightning, but hoping I will be good. Torrential rain now, and lots of thunder and lightning. There are worse cells coming straight for me. Hoping it doesn't come until after the game.

[ Bethie ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:46 PM

C
R
A
P

Sox, you need to hit the ball.

[ Liza ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:46 PM

(grumbling)

Okay, Les...

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:48 PM

Ok, lightning just struck nearby, lost power for a minute. That scared me. I'm awake now.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:48 PM

This is starting to suck. And I don't mean the weather.

[ Ellen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:50 PM

I hope this weather clears up. I'm going to Fenway tomorrow! Beckett on the mound! Woot!

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:53 PM

Oh Ellen, I'm jealous. I love Beckett. Although I am happy it will be on tv.

[ Erin ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:54 PM

Hey everyone!

[ Liza ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:55 PM

Pleatssss

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:56 PM

Awright! Now let's make something happen.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:57 PM

Ummm, these guys are really good. I just hate that it's at our expense.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:57 PM

Not what I had in mind.

[ Erin ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:58 PM

Has it been like this the whole game? I missed the first few innings .

[ Liza ] says:
on June 22, 2008 3:58 PM

FLUCK.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:03 PM

Vanilli is up in the pen.

[ Liza ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:09 PM

Now if only the bats would wake the frick up...

[ Erin ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:16 PM

Thank you Youk.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:16 PM

YOOOUUUUK

(for lack of anything original to say)

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:16 PM

Yeah Youk!

[ Liza ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:16 PM

That one was all me--right as the pitch was thrown, I went, "GET A HIT!"

But regardless, yay Youuuuuuuuuk!

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:17 PM

YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUK!

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:18 PM

Finally! At least it's a start...

[ Liza ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:25 PM

Not a bad outing for Lester. Only 2 runs = not bad.

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:25 PM

Watching Delcarmen, I have a whole new view since that video.

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:26 PM

Oh man, another tornado warning. Great. I just want the game to end before that.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:29 PM

No, Karen, you want the weather to hold off until the game is over. There's a difference. :)

[ Liza ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:34 PM

MDC! That was gorgeous.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:34 PM

Way to go, MDC!!!

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:34 PM

Nice work mdc.
Bats, help him out.

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:36 PM

Yeah, true. A tornado was spotted less than 5miles from me. Too close for comfort.

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:37 PM

Love ya coco.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:37 PM

Wow, Ankiel, wtf was that? Never mind - thanks!

[ Texas Gal ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:37 PM

FANTASTIC.

Thank you, HGH Ankiel.

[ Valerie ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:38 PM

GO COCO!!!

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:38 PM

YEAH! Nice help for us there, Ankiel. Coco, you're the man!

[ Liza ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:38 PM

Coco!!

Nonetheless, why couldn't Pinero have pitched like this when he was with us?

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:38 PM

Karen -- be careful down there!

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:39 PM

Texy, I always think that, too.

5 miles, Karen? wow! Be safe.

Coco! Bats, let's do something! Please!

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:40 PM

Piniero is definitely impressive.

[ Erin ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:42 PM

Stay safe Karen!

Come on Lugo!

[ Texas Gal ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:43 PM

Sac for Lugo. HOORAY!

[ Liza ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:43 PM

Look, a run! :D

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:43 PM

Yes, COCO!

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:44 PM

Yup, gotta give Lugo his props for bringing Coco home.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:44 PM

Nice, Julio! Thank you!

[ Liza ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:46 PM

Pleats!

[ Erin ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:47 PM

Come on JD!

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:49 PM

Nice steal and I he was definitely safe.

[ Liza ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:52 PM

Agreed, fc.

Come on SuperManny!

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:54 PM

Nice unintentional intentional walk.

Chicken.

;-)

[ Liza ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:55 PM

Thank you, Mikey!

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:56 PM

Bethie probably just heard me scream all the way from Concord, NC!

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:56 PM

DH: "He must've gone to the Gange school of pitching."

heeheehee

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:56 PM

How's that pitching change workin out for ya, Cards?

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:57 PM

Jules, I was gonna say to the pitcher, "If you're skeered, say you're skeered!" Although I think walking home the go-ahead run was just plain delicious!

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:58 PM

Oh man.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 4:58 PM

Damn, I wanted some insurance.

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:00 PM

Yeah, it's my man. Pappy.

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:01 PM

fc, me, too!

Let's go Papelbuns!

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:03 PM

One down...two to go.

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:05 PM

Two down...one to go!

Struck out Molina. excellent.

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:06 PM

I love him.

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:07 PM

Is Paps your favorite?

3-0? Come on Pap!

[ Liza ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:08 PM

Okay, Paps... what the fluck was that?

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:10 PM

OK, let's put this one away.

[ Liza ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:11 PM

One more strike...

SHIT.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:11 PM

Noooooooooooooooooooooooo

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:12 PM

*&%#$*%&*#$

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:12 PM

$%^&*%^$

GRRRRRR

[ Erin ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:13 PM

WTF?

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:14 PM

Okay, guys, regroup and use those BATS!

[ Lulu ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:17 PM

Dangit

And is Manny out of the game? I think Brendan Moss ran for him.

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:17 PM

Guys, I have a lot of work to do, so let's get a walk-off, please?

Blown saves suck. Especially on the last strike.

[ Liza ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:18 PM

Yeah, Moss ran for him.

[ Ellen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:21 PM

Crappity crap. I want a walk off.

[ Erin ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:21 PM

Lugo should do something here

[ Erin ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:22 PM

I meant Cora.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:23 PM

I wish Alex had been a tad more patient instead of swinging at the first pitch.

I somehow missed that Manny came out. Wonder if the hammy is getting sore on him again.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:24 PM

That thousand-yard stare from Paps in the dugout was scary. And sad.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:24 PM

Oh Dear God. It's Oki.
I want to believe.

[ Ellen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:25 PM

I am not filled with confidence seeing Oki on the mound.

[ Lulu ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:25 PM

ehh...

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:29 PM

I can't take Oki. Hansen would be better than this.

[ Lulu ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:31 PM

k!

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:31 PM

Okey Doky!

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:31 PM

(survived)...okay, top of the order. C'mon now!

[ Ellen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:34 PM

Yay Jacoby!

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:34 PM

Nice hit Ells!

[ Texas Gal ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:35 PM

STEVE BARTMAN.

If you are not old enough, or savvy enough, to know you don't interfere with a live ball, you should not be allowed in a ballpark.

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:35 PM

Let's make it a four-hit day, Pleats!

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:36 PM

Texy, hear, hear!

[ Texas Gal ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:37 PM

If it was a child under the age of 8, I'd let it fly. But that kid was 14 or 15 years old.

DON'T FUCKING TOUCH A LIVE BALL. Jeez.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:37 PM

Yeah, that's how a double to the monster turned into a HR for the Cards on Friday. Idiot first-row fan.

[ Texas Gal ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:38 PM

Ugh. We cannot let this opportunity go to waste.

LET'S GO BRANDON.

[ Texas Gal ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:40 PM

Forget that....

SEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:40 PM

The Mayor!

Bring Jacoby home, Sean.

[ Texas Gal ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:42 PM

DAMMMMMMMMIT

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:42 PM

Dammit. A runner stranded again.

[ Erin ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:43 PM

Its that stupid kids fault.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:43 PM

And the best runner of all, at that.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:44 PM

That kid looked totally clueless, like it was some kind of joke. Geez...

[ Lulu ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:44 PM

You think aardsma can still pitch today?

[ Erin ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:46 PM

I'm watching the game with my dad and he thinks that if a fan interferes with the ball they should be kicked out of the park.

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:47 PM

Erin, your dad is correct. IMNSHO ;-)

(In My Not So Humble Opinion)

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:48 PM

Erin, I agree with your dad. No question.

[ Erin ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:49 PM

The kid is lucky that its not a playoff game.

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:52 PM

Miles is a PITA.

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:52 PM

Bye Oki. Thank God.

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:52 PM

That *should've* been it for Oki.

Ah...Zeppelin therapy. That always helps.

[ Erin ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:53 PM

I'm so close to dropping Oki from my fantasy team. But I can't find another pitcher to take his place.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:54 PM

I remember Miles from when I was watching the Cardinals a lot last season. I remember him as being quite a hitter. Seems that my memory is accurate.

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:54 PM

Kick ass, Hansen.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:55 PM

Thank you Hansen!

[ Erin ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:55 PM

Thank you!

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:56 PM

YES, Craig!

[ Ellen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:57 PM

Phew.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 5:59 PM

Mikey 'Doubles' Lowell!

[ Ellen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:02 PM

Oh that black screen was kinda scary there for a sec.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:04 PM

SHIT

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:08 PM

Bases load. One out.

Let's do this!

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:14 PM

Could there be anything more frustrating?

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:14 PM

All that and nothing to show for it.

[ Erin ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:14 PM

FUCK!

[ Texas Gal ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:14 PM

Crap. Crapcrapcrap.

I cannot believe we've wasted all these baserunners. It's a travesty.

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:14 PM

*&*#@&&^*&#*&*^%!&^@!&

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:14 PM

The announcers were spot on when they called this a chess match. Holy moly...

[ Erin ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:15 PM

What was Cora swinging at before Jacoby's AB?

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:23 PM

Hansen! Great job.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:24 PM

...and the sun comes out in Boston.

[ Texas Gal ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:27 PM

Are the cameramen all drunk?

[ jules ] says:

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:32 PM

Are you freakin' kidding me?

Again.

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:33 PM

This is too long for me. My attention span is not this long.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:34 PM

Me too, Karen. And I'm hungry (turns up volume on the TV and heads for the fridge).

[ Texas Gal ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:35 PM

This is nothing.

I was once at a doubleheader where the first game went to 17 innings, and then the second game went to 10 innings. TWENTY-SEVEN INNINGS OF BASEBALL. In one day.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:36 PM

Just think if you were there waiting for the Picnic in the Park.

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:37 PM

Ok, that would kill me. I haven't had lunch or dinner, only snacks till this is over.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:38 PM

TG, that's pretty amazing. How many hours did that take?

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:40 PM

Omg, I totally forgot about the picnic in the park. These poor people, and the players.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:41 PM

TEK!

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:41 PM

Omg, Tek!

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:42 PM

TEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Take THAT, Duncan!

ha!

27 innings in one day!? Texy, that's awesome.

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:43 PM

After the collision Malina had last week, that was not fun to watch.

[ Texas Gal ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:43 PM

I lied - I'm sorry. It was 17 and 9 innings - so 26 innings total. Per Baseball Reference, it took almost 7 hours.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:43 PM

That was amazing...even more amazing that Tek didn't get hurt. He's pretty durable, I guess!

[ Texas Gal ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:43 PM

Wee! Tek is superhuman.

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:44 PM

I missed JD's throw (really, I am getting some work done)--JD, that was an excellent throw!

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:44 PM

I think I'm being hypnotized by the metronomic synthesized 'music' in this Wendy's commercial.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:45 PM

That last play was more like football than baseball. Awesome on both ends of that throw.

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:45 PM

LOL, fc.

I love Mike's at-bat song--perfect for him.

[ Texas Gal ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:46 PM

Be a hero, Youk.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:48 PM

I'm having dela vu. Again.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:48 PM

YYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

[ Texas Gal ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:48 PM

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:48 PM

Yeah, Youk! Love, ya.

[ jules ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:49 PM

YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUK!

We needed that win. Bring on the Diamond Backs!

[ fc ] says:

Great job, YOOOUUKKK and everyone else as well for gutting it out.

[ ecl1958 ] says:

Now I can eat dinner and get some work done around here. See y'all tomorrow night!

[ Karen ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:53 PM

Yeah, I'm going to enjoy food that isn't goldfish. Until tomorrow nite, bye for now.

[ fc ] says:
on June 22, 2008 6:54 PM

Wow, did Lester start this game? That feels like half a week ago.

[ LifelongSoxFan ] says:

Hey, Gang! I had to stop by and read the comments today. I was watching...but only as of around 3:40. I was delightfully surprised to see the rain delay which meant I got to see some innings. Fave moment: Tek looking like a bowling pin as he spinned on his shoulder to OUT Duncan. Did my eyes play tricks on me or did Tek ask Duncan if HE was alright after that collision?? Least fave moment: the twit in the stands who grabbed the ball! DUMB-ASS!!

The outcome was worth it - I love seeing our guys do the group jumping at homeplate!

I wish I had NESN to see all the goodies during rain delays. I feel spoiled having watched Saturday on FOX and today on TBS.

I'll try to stop by tomorrow night. Got some things to do since watching baseball until almost 7:00 p.m. tonight wasn't in the plans. Looking forward to seeing J.D. play against his brother! :)
