Ooh ooh oooohhh...so I'm in the Greenville market, as in the Greenville on the list you provided? !!! (yippeee, if I read that correctly). BTW, where are you getting the market info from?
Ian, sorry for asking stupid questions, but does this apply to the regular FOX channel or just the high-end "HD" channels on the cable (I don't have the latter).
Dang...the last time these two teams faced each other I was a freshman in college and both Papi and Lugo were a few weeks from being born. LOL...picturing infant Papi.
And finally, Ian...my schedule says TBS Sunday and ESPN Monday, unless something has changed. So far I haven't gotten shortchanged when games are broadcast on those channels.
Sorry, my bad, Ian...I didn't have much time before the game to get up to speed and had to speedread the post here about playing in 1975. Yeah, my guess (and hope) is that I get to watch tomorrow. :-)
Ian :D, it's amazing how hard it can be to convey intent on line when there's no way to see a person's face. Of course, I suppose that's what webcams are for...sometimes, anyway. :-O
oh btw, if any of my posts say the video has been deleted, AOL has decided to suspend my accounts for violation of terms of service, including one of my names I didn't use at all for videos and that I had for 10 years.
Ian, AOL can be so ridiculous sometimes. My main e-mail account is with them, and I used to wonder why some folks made fun of AOL or looked down on them. I have long since ceased to wonder. They TOS over the stupidest stuff. I hope you get your accounts back soon.
not good not good at all. Especially since this one doesn't look as though this game is going the full 9 innings. still needs to get to the bottom of the 5th for a it be an official game with the reds in the lead.
Jules, I've never had any problems with IE. AOL, on the other hand, has such a bad reputation that once upon a time I had to fill out on-line job applications using IE because AOL software was blocked by a lot of would-be employers. That was a couple of computers ago, of course...AOL software will never again darken one of my precious computers.
I'm using whatever IE comes with a Vista that I bought 6 months ago. I'm definitely not tech savvy enough to know what sort of trouble I'd be having with it. :-O
Dang, Ian, the Olympia ads must be really, *really* bad, then. Of course, sometimes my beef with ads is just something stupid like a voice that grates on me (like that Foxwood ad). Or, not related to WRKO, the old and fortunately retired Ditech ads with the big pasty-looking guy with glasses. He was just so gross.
fc, I got the Vista because after two consecutive 98s, the second one a charity donation from an acquaintance, I was ready for an up to the minute computer because I can't afford to replace it for a *long* time. My cousin who works in IT said it was fine despite any rumors to the contrary. I really haven't had any problems with it. Then again, my needs are pretty simple. Web browsing and simple documents.
i'm sure this will make some happy. In about 10 minutes, i'm going to shut up and fill my mouth with a grilled chicken salad with some I-talian dressing.
To clarify--Masterson is eligible for the loss tonight, unless the Sox come back? And will only get the W if the Sox take the lead this inning, he pitches a clean bottom of the inning, and they hold the lead until the end of the game?
Now, if he pitches this complete 7th inning, and the Sox come back and tie (before the next pitcher enters), the loss is erased and he gets a no-decision. If they come back and pull ahead (before the next pitcher enters), he gets a W... so long as they keep the lead.
I hate Amica ads in general...they just seem so fucking smug. I feel like they think everyone is too stupid to understand a thing about car insurance without them. The "we can't explain this" ones are particularly bad though.

Looks like the rain let up and the game will be played - yay!
