Beckett seems to thrive on the high-energy games. I don't think that you can ask for more in a July game. I hope he kicks Joba's ass right back to the bronx.

I have a feeling that this will be a very ugly game in terms of HBPs and fists in groins. Just as long as there's a comfy lead for the Red Sox, I don't mind
It's games like these that I sometimes wish that pitchers would bat in the AL, because I could see Beckett getting even with Joba for throwing at Youk last year. I have a feeling that all of the cussing and swearing from the dugout would be translated on the field. Then maybe Joba would think twice about throwing at a RS player again ...
