- Johnny Damon's "Jesus hair" in 2004
- Abundance of soul patches
- Clay Buchholz's pitching-killing goatee
- Dustin Pedroia's 17 game hitting streak went in time with his unshaven face
- Tek's steady beard, and his steady game at the plate

Must be some kind of Sampson phenomenon here. Because I've been thinking that's been Craig Hansen's problem too. Like the hair holds the talent, or something like that??
