Here. Got laid off today. Was broke, before I started it two months ago, so need money desperately. I am so sick of Florida, low paying jobs, horrible economy. Hopefully this game will put a smile on my face, could use it.
Beckett with a cast, interesting.
Yeah, I have considered relocating. I would love to move closer to New England, where all my family and friends are. I just can't afford financially to move.
I'm in the same boat, Karen, with the exception that I'm still working...at a job that I hate. After 20 years in the South I can't stand it here anymore. I'm ready to leave...most likely for the Northeast or the Pacific Northwest, but can't figure out an affordable way.
Thanks, Jenny. There's gotta be *someone* for me to look at who isn't too scandalously young a la Ells.
fc, what can I say, I'm desperate. If it helps any, Coco has the edge in my book. But Cora does have great eyes/smile and is otherwise pretty average looking other than those unfortunate ears.
fc, I've gotten used to seeing him in blue, and I have nothing in particular against the Dodgers. So I may as well check in on him while I have a chance to see him on a larger screen with better definition.
I agree with you fc totally on that sentiment. But let's hope it doesn't turn into a beckett situation where a couple days later we find out something was wrong.
well you don't want him to have one now yes but it's baseball and it happens. Like fc said, he's a big boy now. Just erase it from the ol memory bank and get ready for your next start.
Speaking of hurt outfielders, was I the only one that didn't know JD's herniated disc was a preexisting condition? As bad as it still could be, that makes me much less worried. Provided Ian keeps after him about doing his exercises, that is.
I can't take this anymore. I need to do my exercises anyway, and that happens in the other room, where I can watch a certain other game on TV. Will check back here after the top of their first.
Ian, I have a feeling you have a more comprehensive sports package than I do. My regular FOX has the game, as does FOX-HD. FSN has college baseball and Fox Sports South has "not baseball." :::shrugs:::
It works out great on certain days so I can watch two football games if i wanted. Same thing applies when the NCAA tournament happens and on occasion a day like today with the FOX baseball.
Well, fc...I'm native to the Northeast and know from experience how geographically small CT is. That's why to my eyes it functions as a giant suburb of those two cities. I shouldn't be surprised that it has its own market, though. I'm in a tiny market too...Greenville/Spartanburg, SC. As Ian said, nothing too exciting. Probably even less so than Hartford. And we get stuck with just about every Braves game that is played. Ugh.

Something must be wrong with me that I'm hanging on Beckett's every word while he's talking about sleeping with a cast on.
