Un-baseball related, but I'm super excited so I have to share my good news....I got a job offer today back home in NJ, nothing like waiting till the last minute...so even though I now have less then 3 weeks to move my family 300 miles south, I'm still stoked!

It's at the point where the Sox should not think about all of the money that they are spending on him; but about winning another championship. And with Jed, we definately have a chance.

Texy, I like your guidelines for threads. I would really like to do that for emails. I have friends who don't use punctuation or can't spell. It is hard enough in English, worse in other languages. Imagine Korean without punctuation; not pretty.

Thats a stupid drawing that Mass Lottery is having...you have to have already won 1 million dollars to be entered into the drawing to win season sox tickets for life. They're already millionaires, why should they get more? They should have a completed seperate drawing with different people...
I think he pitched better than the stats show. he was facing the best offensive team in the AL in his first ML start. That can't be an easy thing to do.

I'm not even watching this game anymore. Fuck it. The piece of shit umpiring and the piece of shit pitching in this game has caused me to change it over to the Olympics. I'll keep an eye here, but I'm just too fucking disgusted right now.
I think I may just boycott tomorrow's game in protest if the Red Sox lose this, which is likely since the Rangers are STILL scoring runs unlike the Red Sox. And by in protest I mean in protest of the team.

They're pretty bomb seats. Something like 13 rows behind home plate. I've never had seats like that before. I'm always stuck in like, outfield grandstand!
Daisuke's pitching, which is kind of a bummer. I saw him last year (a loss) after a 2 hour rain delay. I really wanted Lester. I bought this shirt after his no-hitter. Maybe I'll wear it anyway 'cause of the Jimmy Fund shindig they've got going on, haha.

Cathy and Kristin: Again, I'm not watching my TV, but it has often seemed to me that Asian people tend to "appear younger than stated age," as we say in the medical world." I wonder if that's the case with some of these young ladies who you're speaking of...they may look 12 but be several years older.
A delayed respose ecl (got cought up in the game), my biggest issue with Chinese gymnastics (and i'm sure it happens other place too) but those girls are given no choice, they are choosen when they are preschoolers...and I know gymnasts are generally small girls, but if you look at thier faces, there's no way some of those girls are 16...ok i'm done with my rant
No problem, Kristin -- it was just a thought. And yes, it's sad that their lives are just laid out for them like that and they have no choice. Actually, it sucks.
