Is it on ESPN nationally? Because my computer is being REALLY slow tonight, so I'm wondering if I'll be able to watch on mlb.tv. Haven't tried yet. Guess I'll turn the TV on.
It's on here, Jessi. I may see if I can get mlb.tv at the slow speed so I can watch it (intermittently) on here while listening to the audio from the other room. I have a sinkful of dishes that MUST get done tonight so can't just lie on the bed and watch the game.
Ooh dishes are never fun ecl, I'm luckily on vacation right now. So I'll be spending the night in bed flipping between the Sox and the Olympics - I'm totally rooting for Jon Horton.
Hey, everybody: trying to catch the game--but MLB.tv tells me the game is blacked out, and ESPN is most definitely NOT showing the game. What's going on?
I had to all mlbtv earlier today and they said they were having problems with poeple being blacked out when they shouldn't be...u just have to call them
Hmm lone1c, I agree with soxygirl - call them. I was blacked once and gave them a call. They were very helpful and it didn't take more than 10 minutes.
Unfortunarely, I'm S.O.L.--the problem is with the local cable provider, who seems to have screwed up the channel lineup.
This has not been a good week for my local cable company. This is the third sporting event they've screwed up. (So far I've already missed the 4x100 freestyle relay--yes, that one--as well as the Peirsol 100 win--and now this.)
Ok I love how Lester is throwing a shut-out at the moment, but ESPN is taking it over the top. "Ah and the shut-out continues." "This could be trouble for the shut-out." "And this guy could break up the shut-out."
I find it really funny that the Rangers have the best offense and the worst pitcing in the AL. It just goes to show that pitching is way more important than hitting.
The look on Wakey's face is priceless. He just doesn't do it for me. I used to work near where he lives off season. He would shop there. Does nothing for me.
I actually knew about rippling glass because a childhood friend of mine lived in a really old house, I believe from the 1600s (this was in New York). One day she showed me the windowpanes at her house and explained it to me.
I'm really annoyed in a petty-shallow kind of way. When game recaps are played, it will be Lester - 3 runs over 7 innings. He pitched so much better than that.

Hey everyone! I am most unhappy to be listening to ESPN announcers tonight, but at least Lester is pitching.
Go Sox!
