I finally got home and turned the computer on and found 9-0, Mac. I was just as speechless. Had to sit down and read the plays on Gameday so I could comprehend what in the world happened (in a good way, of course).
Well, as for me, I'm trying to avoid commenting too much because I'm frakkin' pissed at finding out that the Rangers have blocked my viewing the game from 417 miles away--in spite of the fact that none of the cable stations in a 150-mile radius carry their games. . . .
I see that Texas has both of its long Italian names in action tonight. I have no problem remembering Saltalamacchia, but I work with someone named Coladonato, so I get mixed up and tongue tied with Catalanotto.
fc, drivel on. I sure am, after spending yet another day in "solitary confinement" in a room full of cubicles (long story). Now that I'm here, I feel like I just got out of prison!
lone1c, that sucks about the blackout. Ridiculous!
Haven't been abducted--unfortunately, I do have to run off to rehearsal now, and tomorrow I leave for an extended trip, so I'll see you guys in a while.
My Internet connection is loading really slowly tonight. I about had my fingers covering my face while I waited...and then there was no damn picture! But as long as it's just an inch, that's cool. Trim 'em up a bit...okay. But I will send gloweringly bad vibes to any manager or team owner that demands they get gone entirely. :::still loves Manny:::
While I think that scoring 38 runs in three games is fantastic, the fact that our pitchers (yes that includes the bullpen) basically shut down the best offense in baseball after game one is a very good sign. Nicely done guys!
