lone it was when they built it. They built back in the late 80's to try and lure the San Francisco Giants there. I used to go to hockey games there back in college.
Ian: I saw Kazmir's pitch. I didn't see Feely's FG attempt. (My brother described it as "EPIC. KICKER. FAIL." but I don't know exactly how epic we're talking about. . . .
What I was going to say before I was so happily interrupted, was Hey, Ian! I've been at Fenway part of the time, also a little sick - aw hell, who am I kidding, I've been sick and going to Fenway anyway.
it is sad but when you think about it, they haven't really been winning in the past. you'll get some bandwagon fans but it takes more than one season of winning to get fans.
How bout this. Hip hip Jorge Posada is still crying about Pedro Martinez.
On another topic, Posada voiced anger toward Pedro Martinez for the 2003 brawl between the Yankees and the Red Sox during the AL Championship Series.
"I thought he was going to hit me in the head with a bat, after we had the fight and he pushed Don Zimmer. It was ridiculous. I mean, he throws at Karim Garcia because he's losing the game. I mean, there's no class," Posada said.
Hey Ian, whenever I go www.soxanddawgs.com a thing pops up that says: You Are Banned For Spam or for making inflammatory remarks .
I never post there, just read it. Can you tell me what I did? (Sorry to bring that up here, but...)
That problem should be fixed now. It wasn't just you. For some reason the plugin I was using to ban spammers and the like was picking up all addresses and banning them.
I got rid of the plugin and I hope things are fine now.
So I just finished off the bottom third of a Ben and Jerry's cookie dough ice cream (I know, I'm a pig) and there wa s no dough! Not one bite! And I am very upset at this huge waste of calories.
Ben and Jerry's is so expensive that I don't dare indulge. Instead I substitute Blue Bunny Peanut Butter Panic or Edy's Loaded Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup. Decadence galore, and one never has to worry about there not being the listed ingredients.
Erin3 - It is a disgrace. I was so looking forward to a great chunk of cookie dough, but no such luck. I'm sorry about your Fish Food, that is some good food right there.
If y'all have an issue with my site as far as the banned thing and we're not in a game thread, y'all can always email me through this link to get my address.
I'm not sure, Mac. I never heard of Blue Bunny until very recently, Edy's a little bit earlier. I live in North Carolina, so they could be regional.
Erin3, the Edy's is simply divine. They have a bunch of flavors, but that one is my favorite. The ice cream itself seems to be peanut butter and chocolate combined, and there are chunks of peanut butter and swirls of frozen fudge. Mmmm....
Mhmm I love Cold Stone, but I hate saying the names of the flavors - they're kinda embarrassing. I don't enjoy walking up to a stranger and saying "'Cookie Doughn't You Want Some"
Well, then, 11 in the pen. Still hard to hurt them too bad - but I maintain that just doing away with the starter and getting to the pen early is a good thing.
Erin3: Please don't quote the Honda Element crab. My brother was doing that for days the last time I was visiting home, and it still drives me crazy. . . .
avery let me know if the CTRL F5 on my site to flush your cache didn't work. I have approximately no people banned on my site as I wiped everything out to make sure to prevent this problem.
fc, once upon a time, Billy Joel was very cool. Back in the day. I have much love for his old stuff. Brings me right back to western Long Island circa 1975.
I just went to see Billy Joel last year and he was great. He was funny (said that he was sorry Billy couldn't make it, but his father is here) and played all the old songs. My brother (who was a huge fan back in the day) was impressed when I told him the set list. And the best part is that I got half priced tickets from those who thought he wasn't cool enough! :)
I haven't listened to him recently, Ian. But he was a local boy made good when he first came out. His first album was named after my home town, I used to eat at the restaurant that inspired "Scenes From an Italian Restaurant," the photo on the back cover of "The Stranger" was taken that restaurant, the bass player in his band was the son of my voice teacher, etc. So there were too many connections for me not to love him. Plus he played the heck out of the piano.
Dude my junior year of high school I was insanely obsessive with U2...it was kinda sad. But right now I can only really listen to their older stuff along with "Vertigo" which I swear is only because of the 2004 season. My favorite song of theirs has to be "I Will Follow"

I am mentally preparing myself for the obnoxious ringing of thousands of cowbells.
Go Sox!
