I'm going to bake some cookies. It's a good day for boatloads of chocolate.

I just have to share this one line I heard on WEEI when talking about the clinching celebration. Some dude in the intro said this --

"Did Justin Masterson play Bull in Night Court"

This is Bull

http://img161.imageshack.us/img161/3186/bull10ks.jpg

I just found it funny, tis all.

[ Mac ] says:
on September 24, 2008 6:57 PM

Piney - That is hilarious. Justin does kinda look like Bull in that one photo.

by the way, hi everyone.

Hi all. Trying to stay awake tonight. I starting feeling sick yesterday now I am, with fever and feeling crappy. I have had some infection or something for weeks. I did stay up and watched all the different sites. Necn, wbztv, nesn.com, and boston.com had the best.

[ Mac ] says:

I hope you feel better soon, Karen!

Drew is back?! Yay!

[ joyosity ] says:

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:31 PM

I sprained an ankle during a sorority prank waaaay back during college. That was right across town from where you did undergrad, joyosity -- I just peeked at your LJ. It was bad enough that I required a soft cast and crutches. Can you imagine navigating that terrain under those conditions? HAHA...

Our guys are ON tonight!

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:31 PM

I think these boys are sensing that October baseball will soon be played.

I have a windows sidebar thing on my laptop and I have an application with baseball scores and I have the rays scores up ;)

[ Lindsay ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:36 PM

Yankees are also losing 1-0 in the 2nd against the Jays.

...not that that matters lol

ahh did Jed get a hair cut!?

[ Mac ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:36 PM

(this is slightly off topic)
Lindsay, where can one get this application?

[ joyosity ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:37 PM

ecl, no, I can't imagine having a sprained ankle on those hills! That must have been a major pain (no pun intended).

What a great inning!

[ Lindsay ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:37 PM

reinactment of the sheffield fight? come on Cora! go after him! haha

[ Jessi ] says:

[ Lindsay ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:38 PM

ouch! that looks painful.

Jake!! 10th batter, nice!

[ Erin ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:39 PM

Hey everyone!

Just finishing up on some homework here and will turn on the game soon.

[ Angie ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:40 PM

Hello just got here. So 4 runs already and bases are loaded in the bottom of the first? Wow!

And Drew is back! Finally!

[ Lindsay ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:40 PM

I'm always so nervous when Jakes up to bat in big situations.

I dont know if its that i dont trust him, or if I dont want him to look bad if he makes an out....

grr which he just did

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:41 PM

Joy, one of my classmates tripped on those hills and broke both ankles a couple of weeks apart. Speaking of pain! As for me, it was years before that ankle stopped aching in damp weather.

Good start to the game, fellas.

[ Lindsay ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:42 PM

I'm so happy that Drew is back. We really need him. Now Mikey needs to come back and we'll be all set.

It's also a great time for Papi to be hitting again...right in time for the playoffs. Nice!

[ Lindsay ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:43 PM

Lets go Orioles, Lets go!
Lets go Red Sox, Lets go!

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:44 PM

So guys, for the first time in 13 years, the Yanks are playing a game in which the outcome has no effect on their postseason. That is over 2000 games.

And I live in Yankee territory, which makes all of this great.

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:48 PM

Carmona threw 51 pitches in the 1st inning. wow.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:48 PM

Wow, Jessi, I never even thought of that about the Yankees. Pretty amazing. I wonder how they feel?

[ Lindsay ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:48 PM

I was on yahoo answers earlier today and I was reading a question from the other day and it was "When will the Red Sox clinch?" and a Yankee fan said "They wont, the Yankees are going to come back and take the wildcard"

I laughed for a few minutes...and then felt bad because she must be really stupid if she thought that that was possible.

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:49 PM

Sorority prank? Nobody did sorority pranks. Nope not me.....

[ Lindsay ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:50 PM

TC made a good point last night saying that the younger players such as Pedie probably think that making the playoffs is normal and an every year type of thing.

[ Lindsay ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:51 PM

Come on Byrd! Strikeout or DP would work for me!

[ Cathy ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:52 PM

Hey all!

Nice game so far. It's great to see JD back playing.

[ Lindsay ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:52 PM

anyone in here nervous about the Sox-Angels series if the Rays do win the AL East?

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:53 PM

Lindsay - haha that's great. I was watching some sports show today and they discussing some more of Hank Steinbrenner's comments on baseball. What an idiot. He was saying how divisions in baseball are unfair and bascially that the Yanks should be playing in October, and not the Dodgers.

Yet he never complained about this when the Yanks were winning.

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:53 PM

Wow my comment was very delayed; I was referring to Linday's yahoo quotes post.

[ Angie ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:53 PM

I am lindsay. The Angels are going to be tough to beat, but then again so would anybody else who made it to the postseason.

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:55 PM

Who has homefield advantage in the Angel-Sox series?

[ Cathy ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:55 PM

The Angels do.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:57 PM

Hey Kim...the sorority prank was eons ago (1976) when hazing was still acceptable. It was really no big deal -- we were in a line, holding onto the shoulder of the person in front of us, and jogging across campus. Unfortunately, it was at night and I, the biggest klutz in the world, tripped over a curb.

About the Angels, yeah I'm worried. Who wouldn't be? They're really good!

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:58 PM

Wow...ONE inning? I don't think I've ever seen a starting pitcher be pulled that quickly.

[ Angie ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:59 PM

That montage reminded me...did those fans get to keep the bases? Or did security take them when they left Fenway?

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 7:59 PM

Thanks Cathy. In that case, I'm very afraid of the Angels.

I hope we have Beckett in G1 and Dice-K in G2.

[ Erin ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:04 PM

Hey everyone Done with my home work for now. I'm going to finish it tomorrow when i meet up with a student in the same class so we can both finish it together.

So would the Sox starting pitching be Beckett in game 1 Dice-K in the game 2 and Lester in game 3?

[ Cathy ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:05 PM

I'm not too afraid of the Angels. They hven't played meaningful gme in weeks, and the Sox have beaten them in 9 straight playoff games.

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:08 PM

I hope so Erin, Dice-K has been great on the road so far (knock on wood).

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:08 PM

Boo leadoff triples.

[ joyosity ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:09 PM

bugger

[ Karen ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:10 PM

Ok, what's up with our Sox?

[ Mary ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:10 PM

Uhhh....que?!

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:10 PM

Where the hell has our defense been the last two nights?!

[ Mac ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:10 PM

I agree with Cathy. I'm not completely afraid of the Angels. I hope they play like crap, as they did against the A's last week.

[ Ian ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:10 PM

Can somebody put a tent over the circus

[ lone1c ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:10 PM

Karen: One word--HANGOVER.

[ Angie ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:10 PM

What the hell was that defense?!

[ Mac ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:10 PM

Uh...wtf guys?

[ Karen ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:11 PM

Ok, we had a nice lead, people please end this soon.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:12 PM

See what happens when I stop participating because I'm eating messy finger food?

Okay, I'm back now. Y'all can get three outs in a row now.

[ Cathy ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:13 PM

I expected the team to play like this, but they had better cut it out right now!

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:14 PM

I always feel bad for pitchers who have to play against their former team. It must suck. Especially for the Indians. Last year, we won the ALCS here at Fenway and they got to see us celebrate. Yesterday, we clinched a playoff spot and they got to see their former pitcher celebrate with us.

Overall, not a fun situation.

[ Mac ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:14 PM

Nice DP!

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:14 PM

lone, if they can string together hits with hangovers they can field too.

Thank you, infield.

[ lone1c ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:14 PM

DP for the DP. Thank heavens.

[ Ian ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:14 PM

Depending on if the Red Sox need 3 or 4 starting pitchers. The rotation will be Beckett, Lester and Dice-K.

[ Angie ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:14 PM

Phew, a DP

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:15 PM

I have to wonder if JD is up to running around the outfield with his bad back.

[ Karen ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:18 PM

Finally.

[ lone1c ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:21 PM

Bye, JD. Hope to see you again real soon now.

[ Angie ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:22 PM

Aw is JD gone for the rest of the game?

P.S. Jonathon Van Every is adorable.

P.P.S. Crap a DP.

[ Liza ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:24 PM

Hey everyone. Liza's late to the party but here.

Carter's on-deck antics are cracking me up. "Okay, okay... lean back and SWING WILDLY!"

[ Erin ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:25 PM

Hey Liza!

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:26 PM

Hey there Liza!

[ Mac ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:28 PM

Hi, Liza!

Carter's on-deck antics made me laugh, too. I was like, "WHAT is he doing there?!"

[ Liza ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:30 PM

Hi!

What is with the defense today?

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:31 PM

Phew, I thought that was gonna be a hit.

[ Cathy ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:31 PM

Hung over. They're all hung over.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:34 PM

So when is Johnny Pesky's ceremony?

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:35 PM

Anddd the Rays scored five runs in the last inning. Now 6-5 Orioles.

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:35 PM

I think they said Friday

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:35 PM

Don & Jerry in hysterics. Love it.

[ Mac ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:36 PM

ecl - I heard it was on Friday.

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:36 PM

Can we just start calling him Jake? It'd be so much easier.

[ lone1c ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:36 PM

Yay for Jacoby being Jacoby!

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:37 PM

Ells! What is that streak now? 15 games?

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:37 PM

Jacoby is close to the single season stolen base record. He's at 49 and record is 54.

[ Angie ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:37 PM

God what is with Orioles meltdowns? The one last night was pretty horrific I had to turn it off.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:38 PM

Kim, you can call him Jake if you want -- to me he doesn't look like a Jake, though!

[ Mac ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:38 PM

Jessi - Yup. 15 game hitting streak.

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:39 PM

Thanks Mac!

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:39 PM

The other day I heard the manager of the PawSox (can't freaking remember his name) on the radio and he kept calling him Jake. It took me 5 mintues to figure out who he was referring to.

[ Mac ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:40 PM

You're welcome, Jessi.

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:40 PM

DOn just confirmed.. Friday night for retiring Pesky.

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:41 PM

what's up with Byrd?

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:43 PM

Ok I think Tito has officially given up on the division title if Timlin is warming up with a one run lead.

[ Mac ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:43 PM

Timlin warming up in the pen scares me.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:44 PM

Jeez...Timlin?

Byrd is scaring me.

[ Karen ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:45 PM

Oh man.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:45 PM

Aw SHIT.

[ Mac ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:45 PM

Aw crap.

[ Ian ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:45 PM

I think Texy has primo seats too because I swear I just saw her sitting behind home plate over the shoulder of left handed batters.

[ Liza ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:47 PM

I know a bunch of people at the game tonight. One of my teachers, for example, is sitting down the third-base line.

[ Angie ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:48 PM

That's cool, I'll look for her. Thanks Ian.

Okay offense you know what to do.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:50 PM

Phone call -- will be back.

[ jules ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:57 PM

Hey y'all...what happened to Byrd?!?!

ugh. My husband just asked what pitcher I'd take to the post season as the 4th. After tonight, I'm thinking Wake.

Need some chocolate?

:: passes out chocolate chip cookies to everyone ::

[ Mac ] says:
on September 24, 2008 8:59 PM

jules - I can't put all the blame on Byrd. There was some bad defense, too.

[ jules ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:00 PM

Mac, that's right--two errors that did not help at all. That has to be so frustrating for a pitcher.

[ jules ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:01 PM

off to finish cooking dinner...

Go Timlin!

[ Ian ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:02 PM

If they have the 8-day schedule they won't need a 4th starter.

the 7-day schedule requires a 4th starter and I'd go with Byrd

[ joyosity ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:02 PM

Ooh, chocolate. Thanks, jules. Needed that. Just like I needed that strikeout. Yay, Timlin!

[ Ian ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:04 PM

Check out the gut on the guy who got a base last night.

http://tinyurl.com/4l8m4e

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:07 PM

Nice gut.

[ Ian ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:08 PM

And one other one. Was it not weird to see Papelbon jumping into the arms of Cash instead of Varitek last night.

[ Ian ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:09 PM

I should have just done this earlier. this is from the Red Sox insider blog.

http://tinyurl.com/4flu4v

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:09 PM

Ian, I was sent your website as a link today. My husband (who doesn't read your site) was sent the link to the Johnny Bench interview on SoxandDawgs. My husband college buddy is sitting behind Bench in that video. I just laughed when I saw it was SoxandDawgs.

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:10 PM

Agreed Ian, very weird not seeing Tek as the celebrating catcher.

[ Ian ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:13 PM

That's pretty funny Kim. That happens a lot with some of my friends as well.

Along those lines, here's one for you. One of my cousins in North Carolina started dating a girl who was originally from up here but lives down there now and is a huge Red Sox fan. She was talking to my mom this summer about a red sox website that she read (SOX & Dawgs). SO my mom had to let her know that it was me who wrote it.

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:17 PM

Hmm Timlin was pretty good tonight.

[ Avery ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:18 PM

Hello, thanks all for the videos!

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:21 PM

Did someone say chocolate? I'm having a little ice cream with my chocolate sauce tonight.

And the Rays take the lead 7-6 in the 6th (with guys still on second and third). I almost hope they clinch tonight so every game basically has no meaning and we can play "spring training games."

[ kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:22 PM

stupid rays are winning

[ Mac ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:27 PM

Pedie!

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:28 PM

I hate to admit it, but I was lurking on some Yankee blogs to see their reactions to no post-season. It hasn't even been a day and some are talking about October 09. Haha.

[ Angie ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:29 PM

Pedie being Jacoby! Easy stolen base.

[ lone1c ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:29 PM

Pedie Jacobying!

Jessi: Which blogs?

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:31 PM

Long winded family member. What did I miss?

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:32 PM

Um I think it was "LoHud Yankees Blog." I scrolled through it very quickly and saw a few comments on the playoffs next year. Also, how their rotation will consist of Wang, Joba, and CC. I think they believe that CC will be easy to acquire and that Joba will last an entire season as a starter. It makes me laugh.

[ Mac ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:32 PM

Not much, ecl. Game's still tied.

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:34 PM

Crap, he's not hurt is he?

[ joyosity ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:34 PM

Wow, great catch, Pedey!

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:34 PM

Oh god Pedie don't hurt yourself!

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:35 PM

Don't be hurt, don't be hurt, don't be hurt.

[ Mac ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:35 PM

GREAT catch, Pedie! Please don't be hurt, though...

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:35 PM

Pedey hit his face/nose it appears when he slid for that ball.

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:35 PM

Just his face! He's ok...

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:35 PM

Is his nose bleeding?

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:36 PM

Just found this on a Yankees blog...

"Pete Abe reports that Andy Pettitte has been shut down for the rest of the season. Sidney Ponson will replace him on Saturday against the Red Sox."

[ Angie ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:36 PM

My first thought was "oh god oh god oh god."

Then I remembered my boy Pedie is tough. Remember last year?

[ Liza ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:36 PM

Remy mentioned the shoulder. It looked like his wrist to me. He looks fine, though.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:38 PM

All this talk of chocolate and ice cream...

At the end of this half inning I'm going to indulge in my Edy's Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup. mmmmmm

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:38 PM

He does keep wiping his face like his nose is bleeding. I think he bounced it off the grass.

[ Ian ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:39 PM

I've been flipping to the David Blaine special. That man is whacked

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:40 PM

Is David Blaine the guy who does weird stunts, etc.? The name sounds familiar as one that was discussed in that context during a recent office gathering.

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:40 PM

I had to explain cialis to my 9 yr old the other night. One weekend night the kids stayed up for the whole game. 9 yr old wanted to know what cialis was and why an erection would last 4 hrs.

[ Mac ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:41 PM

ecl - Yes, that's the guy.

[ Angie ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:43 PM

Hahaha Kim that is too funny. And very awkward.

[ Avery ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:44 PM

Nice at bat for YOUK

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:46 PM

That was 6 inches from gone.

[ Mac ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:46 PM

BAILEY!!!

[ joyosity ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:46 PM

Haha, Bailey looked kind of awkward running to third. But yay!, Go Sox!

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:46 PM

Ugh I thought that was GONE. Oh well, cheers for triples!

[ lone1c ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:46 PM

BAILEY!!!!

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:46 PM

Not 6 inches.... 2 inches from gone.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:47 PM

Bailey looked none too happy that it missed going out.

[ Angie ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:47 PM

Bailey!!!

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:47 PM

Good time for Kotsay to kick out of the slump

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:47 PM

YES! Kotsay!

[ joyosity ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:47 PM

And I have to say, good job to those fans on the Monster for resisting the urge to catch that ball.

w00t! Go Kotsay/!

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:47 PM

KOTSAY! Marry me!!!!!

[ lone1c ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:47 PM

Yay, Kotsay!!!

[ Mac ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:47 PM

KOTSAY!!!

[ Karen ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:47 PM

Yes!! Good time to end phone call.

[ Avery ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:48 PM

BAILEY! KOTSAY!

[ Angie ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:48 PM

And Kotsay!!!

[ Liza ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:48 PM

Bailey rules the world. Kotsay too.

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:48 PM

Tek getting IBB is slightly amusing.

[ Avery ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:49 PM

Does Tek's intentional walk make anyone else giggle?

[ Angie ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:50 PM

Yes Avery. I was also kind of confused. Really? Intentionally walk Tek?

Oh please Lowrie please.

[ Mac ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:50 PM

Tek being intentionally walked is kinda funny.

[ lone1c ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:51 PM

Avery: Yes. It's amusing.

[ Ian ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:51 PM

I know it's not funny Kim but it is. You should send an email complaining to nesn about the commercials.

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:51 PM

Why is Jed up here, he's gonna lose a lot of confidence if he doesn't get a hit considering his recent struggles.

[ lone1c ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:52 PM

Well, at least he kept the inning going.

[ Avery ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:52 PM

Lets go CORA!

[ Jennie ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:53 PM

Happy! Happy! Joy! Joy! The videos work at home! Which means the evil work place has the AUDACITY to block NESN???? WTF???? I'm in freakin' CALIFORNIA!

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:54 PM

It was funny after the fact but it would have been nice to have warning that I was going to need to explain erectial disfunction (did I spell that correctly?)

[ lone1c ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:54 PM

Jessi: He's up there because I'm sure Tito wants him in for the ninth; that way he can move Youk back to first. But reading Tito's comments over the last couple of days, the Sox are very much sold on Lowrie, in spite of his recent struggles.

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:54 PM

Why would they block NESN?? weird.

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:55 PM

I understand, I guess I just hate seeing Jed struggle.

[ Jennie ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:56 PM

Given the A's and the Giants spectacular seasons, they're probably just bitter. :)

[ Avery ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:56 PM

Is Tito resting paps tonight?

[ Ian ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:58 PM

he has the bullpen on a schedule now. making sure they get enough work and enough time for them to recover.

[ lone1c ] says:
on September 24, 2008 9:59 PM

I get that, Jessi--and I don't like seeing him struggle, either; I guess they just need to figure out how to get him the help he needs to snap out of his funk, and that they can't do that without giving him a chance to play.

[ Karen ] says:
on September 24, 2008 10:00 PM

I usually like Paps daily, but as sick as I feel anyone is good for me.

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 10:01 PM

I think we were very lucky on that strike three.

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 10:01 PM

Way to go MDC!!!

[ lone1c ] says:
on September 24, 2008 10:01 PM

Sweet K for MDC. Not so sweet if you're Choo.

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 10:02 PM

What's happening? My TV just flipped because I'm recording Lipstick Jungle CSI and I can't watch the Sox too. Crap.

[ Mac ] says:
on September 24, 2008 10:04 PM

WIN!

[ lone1c ] says:
on September 24, 2008 10:04 PM

GAME!

KK for MDC!

[ Jessi ] says:
on September 24, 2008 10:04 PM

Yes!

[ ecl1958 ] says:
on September 24, 2008 10:04 PM

Great job, guys!

[ joyosity ] says:
on September 24, 2008 10:04 PM

Yay, good night everyone!

[ ecl1958 ] says:

[ Kim ] says:
on September 24, 2008 10:05 PM

Got it on gameday. nice game.

[ Karen ] says:
on September 24, 2008 10:05 PM

Good game. I'm off to find anything that will make my fever go down. I ran out of advil, so hoping to find something. See you all tomorrow night.

[ Angie ] says:
on September 24, 2008 10:06 PM

Yay win! Now off to watch the Orioles game...
