Did you see the pre-game? They had some kids who were born on the day the sell-out streak began. They all said "Play Ball" into the mic--way too cute.
I'm so excited about this game. I just heard that Jacoby has a tight quad and that's why Kotsay is leading off. I hope the guys show patience at the plate and get to Jackson quickly.
Hi Ian, it's a good day. I had an important prototype demo today that went very well. WHEW! We're remodeling our dining room, but am taking the day off to watch the game.
Oh by the way, remember that awful Spanish assignment I was moaning about last night? Well today we got to listen to a five minute lecture in Spanish (of which I understood about a few sentences of) and my new assignment is to compare that with another article. Tomorrow I get to give a presentation on it. God I am beyond nervous.
Anway, sorry for the long story. Point was: I will not be posting much tonight. Have fun everyone!
I saw about Bowden. Good idea, in my opinion--he's just 21. And please tell me everyone saw this? (Although I do see an Ian in the comments... would that be "our" Ian?)
Angie - In the first inning, Kotsay walked, Papi doubled, Kotsay scored, Youk singled, Papi scored, Youk caught in a rundown and was tagged out, Bay homered.
Jon Lester is making it very hard for me to concentrate on Spanish and not him pitching. But please, continue kicking ass (even though I believe he may be done for tonight).
This is why Papelbon shouldn't have pitched yesterday. Now he probably won't be available tomorrow night. But I need to think differently and say that we need this win tonight.
Liza - I've noticed it too. I think he gets really pumped up by the crowd cheering and misses a bit as a result. I believe a read an article the other day in which he does say he gets excited by the crowd.
I have it on the Florida channel here tomorrow night. They are obnoxious announcers.
I will be online posting.
Wednesday night I didn't realize was on Espn, with Beckett and it's my b-day, oh yeah. I think I will wait to celebrate until Thursday.

Papelbon has ISSUES.
