SnackSized

Even the Florida Aquarium is getting in on the baseball rivalry business these days.

Per Tampa Bay Online:

With the Boston Red Sox in town for the beginning of the American League Championship Series, many are making predictions.

In a not-so-sceintific experiment, the keepers of the rays at the aquarium are hoping to come up with an educated guess as well.

Little Red Sox-shaped snacks are being fed to the aquarium rays this afternoon, and if the rays take the bait, well, there you have it.

Gotta admire the ingenuity. Wonder if the Rays in the outfield ray tank at the Trop will get their own Soxsnacks?

Freaking brilliant. We should go fishing for rays and use giant socks as fishing nets.

Well ok, maybe not. There isn't really anything cool we can do to insult the Rays. Maybe just feed a few of them to sharks and laugh while doing so.

Could we somehow send out Lefty and Righty with RayStunGuns? Is there such a thing as a raystungun? If not, can someone invent one by Monday?

My HS prom was at the Florida Aquarium. No venue that hosts HS proms can can possiblly generate sound scientific information.

Hopfully the tays in the tank at the Trop get their own Soxsnacks courtesy the bats of Bay, Ortiz and the like. Although I think they put a net over the tank during games, cause they don't want the cuddly little rays to get hurt.

Why do they still have the ray tanks if they're no longer the Devil Rays? I mean, they do even use Raymond as the mascot anymore.
