Requiem For FJM

It had been two weeks since the folks at Fremulon Insurance had posted any updates. I thought maybe they just had a post-Series hangover. But we're all going to have to wait a lot longer for more FJM posts.

[insert somber, funeral procession appropriate music here]

R.I.P. FJM.

I don't think words can express my grief over this.

The term "ass-toucan" truly transformed my life.

No, seriously. Very few websites can make me laugh out loud like FJM could. RIP, and thanks for the memories.

I'll never be able to see David Eckstein without snickering and thinking of you. (I would say listen to Joe Morgan, but I'm not going to pretend that I can bear that experience.)

I think I actually cried a little when I saw that. I at least hope it will stay up for posterity (and the fact that the A-Rod/candybar metaphor one is one of my favourite things ever).

So long, FJM, and thanks for all the fish.

:-(

I think that's the only thing I can say about this.

Even The Dugout paid tribute...

I remember finding it on a whim when googling "Joe Morgan sucks" after googling "Tim McCarver sucks" and I came across that site and its brilliance. I was like "At last, a site to pander to my hatred of biased and idiotic media!" along with a whole array of crazy. Also, I may have inadvertently began their hate for Wallace Matthews because I emailed them the Wakefield-bashing article about him.

I will never again call HatGuy anything other than HatGuy.
