I had come down to support my dear friend Paulo Saldanha
Paulo who was a member of the 4 man Canadian National Triathlon team competing at the world’s
The competition was held in Orlando Florida

Paulo is by far the most acclaimed of Canada’s sports scientist
Many of Canada’s top amateur and professional athletes benefit from Paulo and his team expert peak performance training regimen
It is no coincidence that Canadian athlete’s had a banner Winter Olympic games in Vancouver
Many Gold medal winners achieved Olympic winning fitness levels thru Paulo and his team’s expert guidance and state of the art training methods.
He understands their needs and psychology given he was a world class athlete himself.
He was also one hell of an athlete and competitor
No PED’S with Paulo

Unfortunately Paulo got kicked in the ribs during this particular race & swim start .
Sadly his rib injury resulted in a DNF
He would win many more high level Triathlons cycling and running races

For this particular swim start I was chest deep in water in order to get an exceptional shot !
Seriously hoping to keep the camera dry

Paulo has been an excellent coach and inspiration in my endurance event competition and more important a long time friend.
